An opportunity

but probalby not for us. This old manse, built in 1815, is on the market for a paltry £140,000. We had a look around and it is a stunning and  huge building. Each of the two little "wings" have the same footprint as our house on Grimsay. It must have been a very grand life style. 
Unfortunately it is now a very damp lifestyle and the same would need to be spent I fear to make it habitable. If I'd still have a working income, we would have jumped at it but probably too many imponderables for a pensioned life. That said, I know when we see it in five years time all done up, we will regret it hugely!
