The old Press House
This large building with fabulous embellishments had its origins in the wool trade. It was built to house steam presses to make sludge cakes from the wool grease and other effluent coming out of Bradford's woollen mills. The cakes were gravity fed onto railway trucks housed in the basement! Part of the now derelict railway can be seen in extras.
