Surprise meal out tonight at the local carvery courtesy of my brother-in-law.
During the course of the conversation Chris randomly mentioned that our bathroom scales needed a new battery so we nipped into Hades (sorry Tesco) on the way home and paid an extortionate price for a 9v battery.
Remove battery, insert new one, stand on scales .......nothing. Clean contacts in scales, re-insert battery....still nothing. Ah well, didn`t want to know what I weighed anyway
