A good afternoon today, took a trip to the travel agents with Mrs F and managed to get booked up for our summer holiday.  After that we popped round to the harbour only to find it rather empty.
 
A run up to the airport found a few private planes on the apron, no doubt wealthy people in town for the Scottish Grand National at the race course.  There were also a couple of Falcons on the far side of the runway, part of the joint warrior exercise that takes place every spring and autumn.
 
Just before we left, this Navy Hawk and his wingman dropped in to park up after their days work.  It’s interesting to see how different their approach to the runway is compared to the normal commercial flights.
