The Forum and beyond, Rome

Unexpectedly (for me) hot weather. Rome is amazing. 
Today we saw Circus Massimo (think Ben Hur), The Colosseum, The Thermal Baths at Caracalla (enormous structures), The Forum and The Palatine, plus assorted churches as we passed.
We learnt that crossing the road is perilous - just because the 'green man' is lit, it doesn't mean that a car or scooter is going to stop!
