Live Aloha

Not your usual Hawaii splendor... Stopped for gas for the rental car on the way to the airport by what I had thot was this cool old looking movie theater in Lihue. But from this angle it appears to be "senior apartments" ! Think we'll pass on these... I already am liking the cool northwest air at home! A lot! That heat and wind is deadening to me. It was a quick week but valuable time with family and kids and although there were more activities we adults would have liked , we feel like we saw pretty much of Kauai. And our rental house was great ... The pool well used .. And the separate little cottage for Nanna and Boppa well loved. :-) The girls and their parents flight last night was delayed, missing their SF connection so they only got home a few hours ahead of us tonight, after directly going to pick up Maple Sugar who was very excited to see them and also very tired out from so much playing with so many other dogs. But we still got picked up at the airport by a tired son P. Much appreciated!
