Getting ready for autumn
Over the past few days I've spent several hours in the garden clearing up several years of leaves and weeds and junk. One of the previous owners has actually used the garden as some kind of junk pile as I've found reading glasses, plastic bags, netting, hose pipes, concrete, iron stakes, and many, many batteries, all of which rusted and leaking acid. Definitely no food plants to be planted in the future, that's for sure. But the garden is now cleared and ready for the new leaves that are already falling.
The photo today is of a skeleton leaf that has been decomposing for a few years, it's rather delicate.
