Oh Violet

What a difference a week makes.  Last weekend we were bundled up for winter, today it's been an outdoor working day.  These wild violets are all over the yard, and have been blooming for a while.  Cold weather doesn't seem to slow them down.  Today, we did some yard work and got the vegetable garden started.  (it was about dusk when we finished there, but at least it's a start)  My extra photo is the lilac blooms.    After last weekend's weather I didn't expect to see any lilac blooms this spring.
