Contrasts

Beautiful day first thing and I enjoyed a walk across the Meadows - this is looking both ways up and down Middle Meadow Walk - hard to imagine it will soon be full of blossom.
Had breakfast as I powered through loads of work backlog then walked back via the farmers market. Bought some jams and Jerusalem artichokes-very WI!
Continued clearing the backlog all day in the office-the weather kept changing between sun, cloud and, at one point, snow I think! - then decided to go and catch the opera this evening. It was Rusalka (extra) and very good.
