Calories.
For the past seven weeks Mrs K. and I have been following Michael Mosley' 5/2 diet.
For two days each week food intake must total less than 600 calories per day. For the other five days you can eat normally, whatever that means in your lifestyle.
I have to say that it has worked. We have both lost the amount we are aiming for. Moreover if you are careful in choosing the 600 calories it is not too difficult or depressing.
In fact if we start going up again we think a 6/1 diet would keep things under control.
And it means we can occasionally have something out of this cabinet. Yum yum.
