Smarty pants!

A visit to Fountain's Abbey and Studley Royal World Heritage Site today... again I know!  The snowdrops have gone... and the daffs were noticeable by their absence but oh the wild garlic and bluebells are waiting in the wings! :)

Sunshine (see extra) followed by grey skies and hail... and blimey it was cold!  

A one antlered reindeer sighting.. I hope he hasn't been fighting on a Friday night!

The very, very beautiful St Mary's church... wow... there's pretty!

A long chat with the organ player there... wow there's an instrument.. and a gent!

And an informative talk by the Head Gardener... who wasn't ...but he once was.. somewhere... and he knew his stuff.  And my what tools he had - and doesn't he look smart! :)
