Avenue
I finally got around to visiting Horsfall Stadium to take in a Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC home game. Today they were hosting Worcester City, one place above them in the Vanarama National League North, the sixth tier of English football.
Avenue's team featured two young Bradford City loanees, Dylan Mottley-Henry and Reece Webb-Foster. Webb-Foster proved the star of the show, scoring a first half hat-trick, including a spectacular long distance effort to start. Worcester pulled one back but it stayed 3-1, a comfortable win for Bradford and one which probably secures their place in the league for next year.
Here we see the two teams walking out at the beginning of the match, with the 1930s stadium pavilion behind.
And it snowed in the second half.
