Amsterdam to Newcastle

I went to the Ferry at 8:30 a.m to meet my Dutch friends. It was a first visit for Anja's sister Netta.We caught the bus to Newcastle. Weather was hitty missy but we took in as much as we could before they caught the bus at 3:45 to take them back to catch the boat. First we walked over the Tyne Bridge down to the Sage and back over the Millennium  Bridge. I cheated with the photo as Netta took it with my camera. It was on the Dog Leap Stairs.As I didn't count them I will take davidc's word for it that there are 69 !!! ;) We then went for lunch to a Greek Restaurant. Next we headed for St James.Not that they are really interested in football but most of the Dutch passengers were over for the match and the girls were chatting to some of them in the bar coming across yesterday.  After seeing the girls onto the bus I waved them off. We had a fabulous day.
Dolly will be pleased with the result !!
