Bird of ill-omen

Some people get stuff and some don't. Some people don't pick up when bad stuff is happening - they simply don't notice. Others are more attuned to body-language or whatever and can tell when things are bad. Most people are somewhere in between. On the spectrum. But Jed was different. Jed could tell when bad things were going to happen before they happened.
