I was trying...

...an experiment with my phone camera. To take an abstract quality photo without actually putting it through any digital photography software. I had an idea I wanted a painterly effect. So was wandering round the garden experimenting. Then I found this idea that seemed to work. The sun was blinding and I couldn't see what I was doing. But I took the pics anyway.
I was getting in to enjoying this when I was very aware of Popeye hanging on to the waistband of my jeans and swiping my phone with his paw. It was painful both for my hand and the area round my waistband and my lower legs. Then the dog, Meg, got in on the act and is leaping up and down like a jack in the box on her hind legs trying to snap at the jumper covering my arms. Then along came Lynx...I gave in at this point. I was already battered and clawed.
So I locked them all in the kitchen with food and they can fight it out between them...
I have no idea what was 'bothering' Popeye and Meg unless it had to do with reflections and the glittering of the sun.
I was using some garden ornaments to take these photos from. So this photo I am posting is a straight unaltered photo.
Something excites me about this. I am not saying it is a good photo, but it evokes a feeling, a longing within me and I want to do more of these.
I am going to post this now and the sun is still out and the menagerie are still locked in the kitchen so I am going to have another try...
