Ancient Forest

Mum saw on facebook that some of the peat beds down St Ouen's beach have been uncovered, so we went for a walk along the beach to have a look. There was far more of it exposed than we've ever seen before, there were tree trunks, leaves, pine needles, branches (some with the bark still on them). Apparently they're about 7,000 years old.
