Have you ever been lonely .....

...... have you ever been blue!!!
Well that's how I felt today, suppose the dull wet day didn't make it any better. I went to the local garden centre , where they had been doing restructuring / developing the area for 12/18 months. The new coffee shop is really nice now with lovely staff and comfortable sitting area . It would have been wonderful to have shared the time with someone as I had a coffee and scone, alas I was alone, couldn't strike up a conversation or a simple good morning, all that was managed was asking for a cuppa and saying " thank you ". People are so reserved and to pass the time of day doesn't seem to happen. The opportunity didn't arise for me to do so either. No I'm not wallowing in great pity, just saying how lonely it can feel sometimes, and even to pass the time of day can mean so much.
I walked around the outside area, which has been reorganised and is a larger area to walk around, especially when you do it again and again and again !!! Then I came across this plaque with this quotation, I thought " how true this is ". The tulip and wallflowers were at the front of the G. C. , the tulip I thought was a lovely colour and especially nice with the raindrops on its petals. Hope you all have a good weekend.
