The seated Sand Dance

Last night the band played for a ceilidh at Sandbach in Cheshire. I'd never been there before and it was a horrible journey in the dark with heavy rain and rush hour traffic. I put my trust in the sat nav and she guided me well.

The ceilidh was for a folk dance club and it was great watching a full hall of such brilliant dancers. The photo is of Chris the percussionist and Neil the sax player doing a version of the Sand Dance as they were both wearing a fez.
