Our little valley pub went Mexican Cantina today, offering up a delicious Mexican inspired menu that was so enticing that I simply couldn't pass it up.
My daughter enjoys Mexican cuisine just as much as I do, so off we went to the Elk Creek Country Cantina for dinner.
The special menu featured six different mouth-watering entrees, but after a few minutes of careful consideration, we decided on the Tortilla Chips with freshly prepared salsa and guacamole for a starter.
For the main course, I chose the very appealing 'Vegetarian Tamales', which was filled with smoked cheese & roasted poblanos and served with enchilada sauce, black beans, grilled corn salsa and chipotle rice on the side. Mucho gusto en conocerte, Vegetarian Tamales...mucho gusto (Chomp chomp, chomp).
