Drape of the wrong colour

This blip is of a single drape for which I wrote a product  review  today. It is nice and of good quality fabric, yet the catalog description said 'magenta'-- sorry but this is PURPLE. 4 stars not 5.
It is sort of light blocking but the light that shines through the window turned the room PURPLE! Have hung it at the bedroom door --between the bedroom and hallway.
Does it look purple to you? (untouched up photo).

Actually, there are a few flowers just opening for Flower Friday... alas, this drape was the main work for the camera today
