BlipaEwan 97...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

His sister has a classmate right next door who is always over or around in some form or another. I always felt it was a bit of a shame for Ewan because he doesn’t have any friends with in acceptable ‘not needing to worry about his journey to them’ distance that he can play with.  To get around this with the nights getting lighter, I thought we’d drop by a on oneohis par enrolee friends.  This turned into a invite to the Highland Wildlife park which turned into them organising sleep overs and play dates between themselves.

Ewan watches some rubbish on YouTube.  A couple of his favourites (Diamond Mine Cart and Stampy Long Nose) are minecraft you tubers.  Basically just witter on aimlessly which doing some banal task in Minecraft.  He wanted to do some YouTubing.  I told him he had to find a wee niche that not many or any people have done.  He came up with the idea of old video games.  I thought it would be cool to do comparisons of similar games, one newer and one older.  So his first episode which is still on the editing table, is a comparison of Super Mario Galaxy 2 with Manic Miner.

He was not impressed with the loading times of the ZX Spectrum.
