Moth trap update

Moth trapping is proving very slow starting this season, it is either too chilly (below 5 C) or too windy or hailing!
As a result I have been unable to run my trap as often as I would like, and when I have managed to run it the results have been really disappointing!
This Common Quaker (Orthosia cerasi ) moth from yesterday was one of only 3 moths caught all night! ......I think I am going to wait now for conditions to improve somewhat before I try again :- (
