Home comforts

After a day of feeling pretty rubbish, I spent the evening with my mammy and li'l sis, enjoying the comfort of 'home'. I also had my tea cooked for me too which was nice as I'd not bothered all week because I couldn't taste anything which was only making me angry!
Li'l sis snuggles helped me feel better too. She is growing up too quickly though, turning in to a studious young lady who is happiest at the end of a pen or when she's doing maths! Who'd have thought it?
Despite feeling rubbish, the mini adults made my day a good one, particularly my 10s who all responded excellently during my observed lesson. Nice to know they are on my side when the chips are down!
In other news- I was inspired by work to buy a new book today. So many staff are sharing their latest reads, I felt compelled to join in.
I went for a 'Costa award winner,' they've never let me down in the past.
