Arcade

The Stirling Arcade is Victorian and is a handy cut through from one street to another. It's a lovely structure, though I have to wonder why I've given myself so many tricky projects this week with horizontal and vertical lines. Unfortunately, as I've said before, retail in Stirling is pretty poor and shops in the Arcade come and go and are never terribly enticing when they're open. In its heyday the Arcade housed a theatre and two hotels, as well as shops but it's not so exciting now. I sometimes go to yoga on the upper floor and you get a good view of the arcade from on high.
