A Special Day

I was extremely happy to spend the day with a good friend and Blipper June Fox. Her journey from London took much longer than expected but after a quick coffee, we made our way into Oxford, using the Park & Ride. 

No visit to Oxford would be complete without a picture of the iconic Radcliffe Camera and a Red Kite flew over too, which was an added bonus. 

We made our way back to Minster Lovell, as I wanted to show her the Hall there but it was almost dark by the time we made it. It didn't stop us from getting out our cameras and tripods and doing some long exposure shots. 

The day was rounded off by dinner at a local pub. Great food but why do they insist on serving some dishes on wooden chopping boards?  :)
