Evening panorama from cottage

It might seem strange, having come back from a trip out to Mousa, with all sorts of lovely photos of boats, birds, seals and the amazing Mousa broch, when the light has been fantastic, to blip an evening light panorama from the cottage. But I want to do this to help me remember this lovely tranquil view that we are enjoying every day and especially in the evening when the light comes over the shoulder of the hill behind us. It might also seem strange to appreciate a view like this in Shetland where every single house apart from the one we are staying in seems to enjoy a sea view, but I still think it's absolutely gorgeous.

This is also to celebrate my new found ability to do panoramas, with a bit of careful guidance from Mr A, plus the amazing capacity of Photoshop Elements to knit three photos together.

The good, if blustery, weather continues. Apparently it might break soon. Hey ho, let's enjoy it while it lasts.
