Malta: Day One - "Leaving On A Jet Plane"

The 'header' on this blip may actually be a bit misleading ... It is, in fact, an image of the Northeast coast of Guernsey (the highlighted area being where I live and take many of my early morning sunrise shots) ...
What's more, I was not actually destined to travel to Malta until the next day ... The jet plane was actually heading for Gatwick airport, where I would be remaining over night and catching an early flight in the morning ... :o)

Either way, I was on my way to enjoying a ten day break to the warm and sunny island of Malta, in the middle of the Mediterranean ... :o)
