What a wonderful day!

This morning the snowpack was everywhere so strong that I could walk on the lakes, riverbanks, swamps, forests... Heard that someone has even biked on the snow. This is called the crusty snow season and I think it´s absolutely the best time of the year. When I walked early in the morning on the banks of river Nilojoki, these whooper swans flew right above me. The depht of snow is 71 cm, lenght of day 15 hours 20 minutes, temperature + 2 C (day) and - 9 C (night).
