Goldfinch

I am working from home today and decided to keep a watch on the bird feeder having replenished the stock. Though slow arriving, eventually this goldfinch came and stayed long enough for me to get quite a good few blips. I have displayed a conventional one but just for fun have applied a grunge feature for the extra. May appeal to some.

Good to be at home after the visit to Malta. Need some recuperation. Have to go down to see my Mum this weekend as haven't been for a few weeks and she has not been too well. So I think that takes care of Sunday.

Then just two weeks left at work before I retire. Feels a bit scary but starting work next week on my final lecture so hopefully I will stay well. For those of you used to hearing tales of my Health just need to know that low dose steroids have produced a feeling of well being which has worked wonders. I know it's a mirage and that it is only short term but should take me through the emotions and hard work of the next couple of weeks.
