Chair of the unexpected.
Had been asked to go back to the school l taught at for 25 years until l retired last October.
Hadn't been in the building for five minutes before l was asked if l would like six weeks of supply - NO way!
That wasn't the reason for the meeting and to cut a long story short l'm going to help with the organisation of the French Trip this coming September. Great, means l will be able to buy a new lense for my camera.
Had gone in on the train and bus. On the return journey decided to get off the bus one stop early and walk through Little Germany which has to be one of the most brilliant areas of Bradford, the old architecture is wonderful.
I had gone with a purpose: to get my blip of Timothy Shutter's 1992 contemporary, quirky, sculpture of a chair, cupboard and clock that sits cheerfully on the sloping Chapel Street.
I stood on the opposite side of the road snapping away when a man and two beautiful young ladies went up to the sculpture and proceeded to use it as a prop for a photograph.
Then they noticed me and we had a chat, during which l asked permission from them to use my photograph of them on here.
Not what l had planned but that's the joy of life.
All rather bizarre!
