A little bit abstract?
This is just a close up of a succulent plant in the botanic gardens in Benalla, where our U3A camera group spent a delightful afternoon just snapping away. It was more than that for me, because I had a lightbulb moment and finally caught on to what my settings were all about! I know, it's taken a while. I can't tell you what a relief this is. All it took was one member's way of explaining how to balance the exposure, shutter speed, ISO etc., that made sense for me. Does everyone have one of these moments is learning about photography?
Anyway, my "abstract" today is, in fact, a curious succulent exhibiting all these curly strands along it's fronds. Up close it seems a bit abstract so I decided to go for it.
