Compassion

Sarah and I visited "The Grotto" today, a Catholic Sanctuary. As we knelt in the Chapel of Mary a woman nearby sat weeping. My friend crossed the aisle and placed her arm around the grieving woman in silent consolation. The stranger was grateful. In the smallest acts, great kindness can be offered.
