Reach for the sky....

Nipped over to Sywell in Northamptonshire to collect Mr.Gs` christmas pressie from the craft fair that was being held at the Aerodrome.
After tea and a slice of cake we went across to the museum which is located in an old Nissan hut.
Obviously being in an aerodrome, it`s dedicated to all things aeronautical from WW2.
It`s a fascinating trip back in time and a poignant insight into what the boys in blue went through up in the skies over here and Germany.
This propellor which stands outside the hut along with an ejector seat was from a Bristol Bleinheim aircraft and was recovered from the North Sea.
