Bayeux

An overnight crossing from Portsmouth and we arrived in France.  By 8.30am we were in Bayeux.  What a beautiful place.  The tapestry was amazing and later we visited the Normandie Museum.  We also visited the Bayeux war graves.  Always a moving experience to see so many graves.  Tonight we met up with family and we are all in the chateau getting ready for the wedding celebrations that are to come!
It's our boy's birthday today! Sorry not to be there celebrating with him but know that auntie K and him will be having a party!
