The quilt is done!

My daughter's best friend is due to have her first baby in May.  Manda and I decided to design and make a baby quilt together for them.  Our original design was super complicated, but we simplified it, drew out the design, came up with the animals and birds.  Manda had never done anything crafty before and she did so much of this, including all of the embroidery around the animals.  I did the quilting and the binding and it was a great collaboration.  We really enjoyed doing this and hope to do another sometime soon.
