In full bloom

The camellia has suddenly burst forth. The flowers are so gorgeous I wouldn't mind blipping them every day! Because we have chalky soil the camellia is in a tub and having been there for many years it needs a lot of watering because it is pot bound.
It was a late night last night. I am still sleeping downstairs because of my hip replacement so I was in a good place at 11.30 pm to hear the gas engineer banging about outside, reconnecting our supply. Then he rang the doorbell as he had to check all our appliances! It is a good thing that my pyjamas are respectable! Normous, upstairs, didn't hear a thing.
