jetty

I'll do a lot of things for a blip but walking the plank to get a photo from the end of the jetty isn't one of them! 

Had half an hour to spare before my haircut so that's how I came to be at the lake. Unfortunately that was when the rain started so I turned up at the hairdresser's with wet hair. 

Soon after I got home the garden was invaded by birds. First were the Siskins (must have been 18 of them) and 3 Goldfinches (we've only ever had one before). When they had left  the Chaffinches and at least 8 Yellowhammers arrived along with Mrs and Mrs Blackbird, a Coal Tit, a Robin, and the usual jackdaws and wood pigeons. 

I've put one of the siskin photos in extras. Not the best of shots but not the worst.
