Mum Q.S.M

A great day in Wellington for Mum's Queen's Service Medal investiture.  Up at 4.45am and on the first flight. The weather was very cooperative - sunny and warm, a lovely winter's day.  Very special to be at Government House, meet the Governor General and hear the stories of the recipients. A delicious morning tea followed and a chance to wander around this amazing building and meet people.

Great to spend it with Kariba, Zane, Dave and life-long friends, Anne and Jack.  Caught up with Sunshine at the very end of the day. 7.45pm flight home. Very tired now!
