Balmain East Wharf looking North to North Sydney. Its high tide so the water is swooshing onto the wharf and couldn't resist this as my blip today.

Posted this late last night so didn't really have much energy to do a proper write up.

The view of the Sydney Harbour, SH Bridge, North Sydney CBD, Sydney CBD. Darling Harbour from this wharf is pretty special. I'm thinking a little series from this spot is well worth it. This one spot has about a million (seriously) bliportunities For anyone visiting Sydney please add the Darling Harbour ferry loop to your list. Leaving Circular Quay it goes to Luna park, McMahons point, Balmain East, Pyrmont, Balmain East, McMahons point, Luna Park, Circular Quay. The views of everything during this loop is worth more than the ticket price. I'm loving it because I get on at Luna park off at Balmain take a few photos and then get same ferry on its return trip some 20 minutes after been dropped off.

The photo may look more dangerous than it was, there are three steps going down to water so the camera is on a mini tripod sitting on middle step with me holding camera strap ready for a quick yank should a wave look like getting too close. Frustrating because I thought these photos would turn out better. Lesson learnt tonight shorter exposure with appropriate adjustment to F.stop and ISO next time. Longer the exposure worse these shots got. Arrrh the beauty of blipfoto I always get an opportunity to make amends. citee ferree
