Legless? Never!!

We have a couple of small ponds in our garden, only about a metre long ( more like puddles really,)
We've planted flowers etc round them to attract wildlife.
I was hoping to see a frog but I managed to get a photo of this newt.
( I had to crawl on my tummy for this shot,)
I think newts are fascinating creatures. Apparently they are able to regenerate parts of their body including their limbs - hence the title.
I've tagged it for Wild Wet2. I won't mentioned it is hosted by the very amusing Cailleach as she said not to!)
The photo reminds me of the chorus of this rather catchy song.
P.S. It is my wife's birthday today so we're going out for lunch today with friends
