Tractor Tuesday - MF 762
Tractor of the Year 2012, so the sticker on the engine cover claims. I suspect, given the state of the tyres, that it belongs to a contractor. Perhaps MrTBay has been flooding the German market with his old tractors although this is a RHD so guess it can't be unless his team were driving on the wrong side of the Somerset roads.
I won't list all the technical stuff, MrTBay will know them by heart whereas I have to check Wikipedia. Massey Ferguson did at one stage in it's history have a direct UK connection but was originally Canadian but there again that is UK too!
The photo taken at the local BayWa agricultural merchants, who are Fendt dealers. There was a lovely old 1951 Fendt F18G "Diesel-Ross" (Diesel Horse) there too, a fairly rare model. have posted some photos to Flickr and show one as an Extra.
Rather liked having the Ottobeuren Basilica in the background. I am going to start a campaign for Ottobeuren to twin with Glastonbury. Ottobeuren has no UK twin town and vice versa. There are a lot of similarities between the two towns. I wonder if the TBays have any connections with Glastonbury Town Council - if so he needs to show them the Ottobeuren Image Video. Glastonbury may have somewhat more modern music, Ottobeuren's Abbey though is in slightly better shape. Ottobeuren's motto is "Allgaeu for the Senses", a place of historical religious interest as well as health based (Kneipp) and of course agriculture. Ideal match in size too, both have around 9000 inhabitants.
Did the Bannwald walk, Flash was on excellent form. Angie also went with him for an evening walk and was amazed at how fit he was and on returning she was astounded at how he played Frisbee, even if this is no longer him chasing it but us moving away and throwing it at him. He was though jumping up on his rear feet with great ease and totally pain free.
