Hope Valley Meadow

Hope Valley is one of my favorite places in the Sierras. It is on highway 88, one of the two winter routes over the Sierras. Kirkwood is twenty miles east on the other side of Carson Pass and Lake Tahoe is about 30 minutes north on highway 89. Other than those two, the tourism here is low key.
