Something new for a change!

Some 5 years ago I found this neat little Juniper shield bug at work, but the Juniper bush was removed and I haven't seen it since then until today!
I knew we had a large Juniper bush in another location, and I always felt it should be home to this beautiful little shield bug and today I found some!
I was so chuffed, as this little bug is really very attractive, and not one I have seen very often.
The Juniper shield bug Cyphostethus tristriatus, overwinters as an adult and emerge and mate in early spring. It is common across southern and central England, but probably easily overlooked.
I have added another Bluebell shot in my extras, I think I will call it 'Standing out in the crowd'.
