Nice lie in today, must have needed it as feeling better today.

No visit to mum - she can do without my germs, but trip to WW not bad half pound off (have had afternoon tea plus other naughty eats).

Attended a seminar on pensions - AVCs (Additional Voluntary Contributions) in particular. The upshot is ......... I'll have to work until 67, no early retirement for me unless I invest large amounts of money in AVC. Problem is ..... don't have large amounts of money hanging around, but will seriously consider the AVC option to improve my pension when I retire.

Looking forward to spending the day with hubby tomorrow before back to work on Thursday.
