Shaky once more

This is Shaky Bridge in Glen Lednock. There used to be an insubstantial wooden footbridge wedged in the trees to the right that gave the crossing its name. It was replaced some years ago with this modern bridge. More recently it was damaged by flooding - you can see part of the A frame is missing - and the council closed it.

However many people have continued to use it. Mrs P and I took the precaution of crossing one at a time! (And no, I didn't send her over first.) Afterwards, we watched someone run across it, and it did wobble a bit, if not actually shake.

My extra photo is a detail from the Deil's Cauldron, on the same river.
