A frosty day in the veg patch
I managed to harvest the last of the beetroot today. More left than I thought. Still got loads of carrots left too.
Other things still out there - tatties (hiding under ground, we've just been digging them up a few at a time but should probably get round to digging up what's left to store), kale, cabbbage and believe it or not some little lettuce hanging on in there. Didn't expect them to come to anything, might have to pick them in the next day or so I think they might start to rot after the frost.
The leeks aren't very big yet and I don't know if they'll get much bigger. Still, I'm planning to enjoy them whatever size they may be as part of Christmas dinner.
