Took this quickly on the balcony before rushing into uni.

In the evening I headed into civic to firstly buy my Secret Santa present for Saturday, then to go ice skating with Sarah, Werner and Sarah's friend Ellie in the temporary out door rink. YAY ICE SKATING! They have these little penguin statues for people who can't skate very well. They're essentially zimmer frames on ice skates. Needles to say, I heavily abused them.

Afterwards ended up going to dinner at a restaurant called Pho, and then onto Hippo with Mike and Shen for what we thought was jazz again. Turned out to be an asian guy and a white guy, dressed respectively in a masquerade mask and a space helmet, who rapped in a style similar to the Beastie Boys. Fair enough, they were having a lot of fun and doing what they love. But also fair enough, they were pretty awful. It was very entertaining. What was even more fun, was watching the looks of horror on the faces of some of the older more refined members of the audience.
