Young Swan preening in Whitehaven Harbour
The weather over the mountains is low mist and heavy rain so we are on the coast for the day, where at least the sun peeks out now and again.
last night the wind got up to gale force and this prompted me to take down the awning to avoid it being blown away.
Naturally after that, within half an hour the wind fell away to a gentle breeze.
Ah well, if you can't take a joke you might as well not go Caravanning!
This young swan was one of several that seem to live permanently in the harbour, which is rather odd as you don't really think of them as Sea birds, do you?
