Making the Magic

Bookfestival meeting tonight and these people are what makes the magic, myth and mystery happen - ideas, organisation, enthusiasm and plenty of commitment.  Particularly thrilled to have our new Patron, Helen Moss there to give us some feedback from an authors point of view and also to be really encouraging.

Only a month to  go and the programme is printed and will be distributed locally by the end of the week.

In a month long comedy of technological inadequacy we couldn't get the 'bat phone' (also known as the mobile enquiry line) to work this evening, as it was 'locked'.  The number has been printed in 5,000 programmes, so the matter was urgent.  After the meeting I got my teenagers onto it and we eventually decided that unlocking the phone would cost more than buying a new one.  So that's what I've done for £12.99.

Should be operational by Friday....
