After Easter bunny

Unfortunately the adult we saw last year in the garden has produced two babies who also find the grass sweet this side of the fence.  As long as they keep to the lawn and not eat the plants in the flower beds, I don't mind.

The original Portlanders in Dorset will not say the word Rabbit and they sometimes get teased by tourists about this.  Many years ago quarrymen were killed on the island as the earth above where they were quarrying the stone fell in: it was full of rabbit warrens.  I remember a friend saying when she was a child there was a Portlander at school with her in Weymouth who never said the unlucky word even in a biology class much to the other children's amusement.
